A long time away.

Well with any great or not so great blog life gets in the way.

As a lot of people know Meat Loaf had a few health concerns as of late. Wish he would take care of himself.

I will start this off by saying Meat Loaf and Steinman are Rock Gods. for some of us we know that I have heard Three of the new songs from the Fourth coming album and I am just going to say OMG.

The last album after hang cool was good. I think with Paul Crook at the helm of this record its gold. He is a genius. I hope the songs get airplay on radio.

So I have seen Meat Live twice on his First Leg of his North America tour and he was great. I spent time with some good friends and met a few new ones from down under and across the pond. I hope to  see them again sometime on the tour circuit.

See You all after the 16th of September when we are all Braver Than We Are.

Hell in a Handbasket

Good Morning

Let me say I am glad to be crazy to order a Cd from the Australia. I just could not wait a whole 3 to 4 months for Meat's new album "Hell in a Handbasket" this album just rocks in a whole new direction. Just like " Hang Cool Teddy Bear" went in a new direction away from the Bat albums. This album goes in another new direction. Paul Crook has done a great job on producing this album. For the rest of the world you are all in for a treat when the album is released.

Morango Casino Review

To Start out tonight I must say it has been along 7 months since I have posted anything. 

Good News Meat was in a great mood Friday Night started out with the show starting at a little past 9 Pm.

The ballroom went dark and the band came out and started to play the first song was Hot Potootie Saturday night Break it Bat out of Hell then he asked some guy why was he coming into a concert 3 songs into it and if he saw him get up to leave anytime he would get  off stage and bring him back and sit him down. Meat also told everyone that they worked mon thru thurs and it was Friday and the Weekend Started and to get off their Asses and he didn't care what security was telling people to stand up and move up to the stage, and security could deal with him later. he then went into Peace on Earth, Living on the Outside, Los Angeloser, Took Words , Rock & Roll Dreams anything for love, 2 out of 3 with a promo of the book from Celebrity and then he went into Paradise then rev and ended with Boneyard. He had to cut the show because the Casino wanted everybody out on the casino floor to gamble so Boo on the Morango casino.

 

Concert Review for Meat Loaf Aug 12th 2010

Good Afternoon to all

Well great news The Loaf is Back.

He sounded great while singing but he was a little hoarse while he was just talking to the crowd.

the show started with Meat coming out on stage with his pink Guitar and playing with an amp and then strumming the strings and no sound and paul telling him he forgot to turn it on and turns it on for him. plays  again and the amp (blows) the band breaks into Hot Potootie whatever happened to saturday night from Rocky Horror Picture with a clip from the movie playing on the giant screen behind the stage. Then it was an incredible ride from then on into Break it to Bat to stuff from the new album. Just a great show I can't remember the closing was either Boneyard or All revved up. Pearl was awesome as well she was loud very  talented as well. Some lady next to me booed her and asked if I like her music I said yes if I didn't i wouldn't have been there to see her perform.

To All you Happy People and Fans of Meat Loaf

Get Ready today is the day fans in southern california have been waiting for Meat Loaf Performing tonight with special guest -----Pearl----- that is right Daughter of the Legend is the opener for him tonight and she has a meet and greet planned after her set at the Merchandise stand talk about that being hell, Well I will let you all know at a later time reviews will be posted later for both Joan Jett and Meat at a later time along with pictures from both shows will be posted on Facebook and here and maybe Photobucket as long as I can lock them so they can't be used by others for profit.

1 Day before Meat Loaf Continues his Tour

Good Wednesday Afternoon to All

Well 1 day of waiting till Meat resumes the tour in Beautiful not so Hot sunny Southern California. It has been a few months since the release of Hang Cool Teddy Bear and It still a great album. I must say Shame on the Record company for not promoting the Hell out of this Great Album and Artist Meat should really think about another company. but enough of this rant.

Universal City AKA Universal Studios: Gibson Amphitheater will rock Thursday August 12th with true rock and roll music with Meat Loaf and the Neverland Express with Very Special Guest Pearl. So all fans stay tune for My review of this awesome show and Pictures if I can get my camera in and don't get it taken away.

Tonight I will be at My first Concert of the Year at the Orange County Fair I am going to See one of the First Females Rockers to rock the 1 and only Joan Jett and the Blackhearts with Cherrie Currie of the Runaways. Should Be another awesome Show.

Well Got my Deluxe Boxset from the UK

I am so happy to finally have the Boxset from Universal Music the extras are well worth the wait.

The shirt a large (doesn't fit) oh well can buy one at a concert when that comes around to town.

Key Chain, Sheet Music Art Print and the Certificate Signed By Meat all Awesome. DVD plays on Laptop but have to reset region code so can't play it to many times. The Extra CD Casa De Carne Live very nice addition just wish the song Boneyard sung with Pearl was available in the States. just hoping he will release it here.
