For all that don't know or don't Twitter

Just to give a long overdue update on life and others things meat loaf the man is recording a new album in LA and has a Twitter account and sends out updates every so often as little video tweets.

As far as life goes I am sad to report that My brother will no longer be my concert and fellow Meat Loaf fan. He passed away in September of a heart attack while down visiting.
but hey he got to see meat loaf last October 3 rows back center stage. so i know he was very happy with that surprise.

Concert Review

Meat Loaf Halloween Concert Review at Pechanga Resort Show Room.

The night started out great with the Meet and greet, Meat was in a very jolly mood laughing and joking with the elite Thirty-five of us that chose the special package.

He talked with everyone. He graciously received gifts from his fans and talked to each of us. After the 20 to 25 minute time we had with Meat we were broken down into small groups and lead onto a short backstage tour after which we left the showroom so we could return at 7pm for the concerts opening act, Dead Rose Beauty they took the stage around 7:45- 8Pm and played till 8:30 pm then it was onto a quick set change and around 9pm the theater went dark the crowd cheered it was Time for the legend to bring down the house Meat opened with

I Want you so Hard (boys bad news)

If it aint Broke

Frying pan

Lemon

Then on stage wardrobe Change to a Redneck outfit with a cooler and did his Texas accent and couple of redneck Jokes Then went took a beer out of the cooler opened it and then shook it up and sprayed the front row then opened another and tossed to a guy in the front row and then went into the song Dead Ringer for Love

Followed by

Paradise

Hot Summer Nights (performed live with Meat and Patti)

Anything for love

Bat out of hell Closed the first set

The band came out in Halloween Costumes:

Meat – Elvis

Paul – Barney Rubble( the Flintstones)

Kasim- Giant White Rabbit

Dave- Joe the Plumer

Randy- The Joker

Patti- Gene Simmons

C.C. – Unknown KISS Band Member

Mark- as Himself

John – skeleton shirt and a pig nose

Opening number was:

Rock and Roll Dreams

Roadhouse

Closed with Why Don’t we do it in the Road.

Overall Great concert Meat Sounded great Looked awesome was not a bad night

The venue was nearly full a few empty seats in the back of the Showroom. This place was 1000 times better than the PALA Casino ballroom. The sound was right on queue.

Some of the (good 90% ) audience should have stayed home. When Meat Loaf waves his arms to get you to stand up DO IT he wants to see you Standing and Dancing in your seats and it is a must for you to stand and sing your part on “You Took the Words”. You can’t sing it sitting down it does not work. Meat does not really get the true Fan or Concert goers when he does (Indian) Casino Shows. This Concert was the best I have seen In a long time.

Due to the current restriction Meat put on about Cameras Not being allowed I was not able to get any pictures. For those fans that did not honor his wishes you should be ashamed of yourselves.
